What a lovely day to walk the burn gorge, the weather was wonderful for the stroll along the burn gorge taking us past the old brick works and along the river bank leading to the military road. the scenery is fantastic, but please at this time of year keep dogs on the lead when sheep are in lamb.
Robin Hood's Tree

Despite being from Nottingham, it was the film 'Robin Hood Prince of Thieves' that made this tree a tourist spot. Located along Hadrian's wall the tree has become the setting for many a photograph and here are some of ours.
