We are located in one of the most scenic and beautiful areas of Northumberland. Haltwhistle is famously known as being the Centre of Britain.

We are ideally located for plenty of scenic walks along Hadrian’s Wall and the Pennine Way, as well as areas of interest such as Vindalanda, The Sill, House Steads, Birdsoswold and the Roman Army Museum.

Hadrian's Wall

We are situated only ¾ of a mile from the centre of Haltwhistle and ½ a mile from Hadrian’s Wall itself, with a local bus route that passes by the cottages. Find out more...

Sycamore Gap on Hadrian's Wall.

Ald White Craig is also a small holding. We have chickens and ducks and anyone is welcome to help feed them. Come and see the goats and horses and on request you can help groom the horses.

The dogs are especially friendly and enjoy playing with children. Geordie the Cockerel is your own personal alarm call.
